WATAG (Western Area Transport Action Group) exists to improve public transport in the Westernmost part of Dorset. It is a forum for passengers, bus companies, council officials and local councillors. WATAG meets once every 2 months in Bridport. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions no meetings have been held. WATAG plans meetings via Zoom, details to be announced.
COVID-19 has had a huge impact on all our lives, and public transport has been severely affected; indeed it is probably fair to say that without Central Government and Local Authority support none of the conventional public transport services – rail and bus – would be operating at the moment.
